18 hole, 6566 yards, SSS72
In 1764, the Society of St Andrews Golfers, which later became the Royal and Ancient Golf Club, decided that some holes were too short and combined them. This reduced the course to eighteen holes and created what became the standard round of golf throughout the world. The track through the whin bushes on which the Old Course evolved was so narrow that golfers played to the same holes going out and coming in.
Golf Scotland receives an allocation of St Andrews Old Course tee times which we are able to offer to our clients.
Our allocation is spread through the season (April to October) allowing us to service our clients during the peak months. Please complete the Contact Form and we will respond promptly with a quotation.
Due to the scarce nature of guaranteed Old Course times, tee times can only be sold as part of a package which consists of a minimum 4 night stay (April) or 5 night stay (May - September) in St Andrews.
